The company has also stressed the importance of green, low-carbon and sustainable development.</p>

On December 1, Trina Solar, a global leader in smart solar products and energy solutions, hosted a celebration for its new 1.35 million square foot solar photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing facility with community members, partners, and local and state officials in Wilmer, Texas. The company is investing more than $200 million in property and equipment and the facility will provide 1,500 local jobs. </p>
